[edit] Removing Speedy at RedjackEdit

Hi there Mavericstud9! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Redjack. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD G3. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Redjack, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:55, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Romulus and RemusEdit

You have added a significant amount of material on Romulus and Remus, some of it useful, but some of it of low quality. I suggest you read the welcome page at Wikipedia:Welcoming committee/Welcome to Wikipedia PatGallacher (talk) 17:23, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of Romulas and RemusEdit

[11]A tag has been placed on Romulas and Remus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason: Very poor quality article created by a user who is something of a loose cannon, this film already has a better article at Romolo e Remo.Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. PatGallacher (talk) 17:54, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

  • Presumedly, it is about a character from some book or movie (comic etc.); without context on from where your article will likely be soon deleted. Please have a look at the guidelines on your first article before submitting any more pages. [edit] SD tagsEdit

[17] Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Monark starstalker, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. LAAFansign review 20:42, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

[18] Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 20:55, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

  • I have restored your edits, and removed the speedy notice. Note that the article has been copy-and-pasted from Monark (Earth-616) on Marvel Wikia. Apparently, Marvel Wikia is under a CC-BY-SA license, which seems to be compatible with Wikipedia, but even then the content cannot be included on Wikipedia without attribution. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:23, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of Yag KoshaEdit

[26]A tag has been placed on Yag Kosha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
