Cronus is the king of the Titans of Myth. He is the son of Gaea the Earth Goddess and Ouranos the Sky God. His father was a ruthless leader and Gaea asked her son Cronus to kill his father. He killed Ouranos and became the lord of all creation. It was prophesied again that Chronus would be killed by one of his children just as he had overthrown his father. As a result, when Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hadesand Poseidon, were born he devoured them, to preempt the prophecy. When the sixth child, Zeus, was born his wife Rhea sought Gaia to devise a plan to save them and to eventually get retribution on Cronus for eating their children. Another child Cronus fathered includes Chiron, by Philyra.Rhea secretly gave birth to Zeus, and handed Cronus a stone wrapped in cloth, which he promptly swallowed, thinking that it was his son. Rhea took Zeus away and kept him hidden.
When he grew up Zeus he returned to face his father cutting open his stomach releasing his sibling. Zeus also released the Cyclopes, who help forge his Thunderbolts, Poseidon's Trident and Hades Helmet of Darkness. They battled the Titans of Myth and became the new rulers of the Earth.
These siblings became the Olympian Gods and goddesses, Zeus,Poseidon, and Hades then divided the heavens, seas, and underworld among themselves. Chronus is then locked in Tartarus for the rest of eternity.
Millennia later, Cronus was magically brought back to life. He unleashed his terrible children - Arch, Disdain, Harrier, Oblivion, Slaughter, and Titan - upon the unsuspecting Earth. Hoping to rule the universe once more. Cronus set the Olympian and Hindu pantheons against each other in an epic war of the gods. However [http:Diana_of_Themyscira_(New_Earth) Wonder Woman] shattered Cronus's sickle, holder of the collected power of the Godwave, and shortly he died once again when he tried to claim the power of the Presence and was overwhelmed.

Ouranos Rhagnharr , or Uranus, was the Greek God of the Sky and existed many thousands of years ago. Uranus mated with the Earth Goddess Gaea and begat twelve children who would become the Titans of Myth. In time however, Uranus went mad, and believed that his children would rise up to kill him. Hoping to stave off this prophecy, Uranus sought to kill them before they could kill him. His tactic failed and Gaea called upon her frist son, Cronus, who slew his father. The death of Uranus yielded a new Golden Age for the Titans of Olympus and their reign eventually gave birth to Pantheon of Gods led by Uranus' grandson, Zeus.
- Oceanus is one of the Titans or original gods of Greece. Zeus overthrew the Titans to conguer Olympus and exiled them to Tartarus, but Oceanus and his brethren were released in recent years to help Thia in trying to conquer Olympus. His wife, Tethys, was reportedly killed in the melee.Tethys is one of the Titans, an extra-dimensional race of beings once worshiped as gods by the people of Ancient Greece and whose descendants are the Olympians. Tethys is a citizen of Olympus and Goddess of the ocean. The general public is unaware of Tethys except as a mythological character.

Hyperion is one of the Titans, an extra-dimensional race of beings once worshipped as gods by the people of Ancient Greece and whose descendants are the Olympians.
Hyperion somehow became aware that Theia was not by his side in Tartarus and freed himself. In doing so, he freed the other Titans and they tried to retake Olympus but were defeated by the Olympian gods and their allies in the team of costumed adventurers known as the Teen Titans. They later helped the titans to free the Amazons and rallied for the Olympians against Thia and her progeny. Hyperion himself confronted Thia, conjuring a funeral pyre to destroy them both in order to defeat his lover.
Theia is one of the Titans of Myth, an extra-dimensional race of beings once worshipped as gods by the people of Ancient Greece, and whose descendants are the Olympians. She was able to escaped Tartarus alone and came to Earth. She had numerous husbands and lovers - all of whom she slew - and numerous children. She raised her children to be ambitious opportunists under the auspices of a cult called the Children of the Sun and convinced them that they would someday inherit the Earth. One such child was Lilith
Lilith was spirited away by her well-meaning nurse to protect her from her mother and was raised beyond the insanity of the cult. She grew up with psychic powers and eventually joined the Teen Titans. Theia eventually sought her out to prevent her from turning against her as Zeus had turned against Cronus millennia earlier and eventually kidnapped her back just before launching an assault on Olympus, now moved to a pocket dimension by Zeus.
Thia then kidnapped the Amazons of Themyscira, and ordered her mortal slave Kole to imprison them. Next, Thia attacked Olympus and succeeded in wrestling the throne from Zeus.
Sensing a possible threat from the titans, Thia released her mortal siblings, the Giants, from Tartarus to destroy them. Thia was successful in her siege of Olympus, but the Titans, however, defeated the Giants with the help of the Teen Titans. Together, they helped to free the Amazons and rallied for the Olympians against Thia and her progeny. Hyperion himself confronted Thia, appealing to her out of the love they once had, conjuring a funeral pyre to destroy them both in order to defeat her.

In this position he is an enforcer whenever Lane needs someone roughed up, although it is common knowledge that his ambition is to succeed his new masters and take the power he deserves. His name is inspired by Atlas of the Greek Titans, a mythological being with unimaginable strength, one of the entities who grants Captain Marvel his powers. Atlas was created by Jack Kirby, first appearing in 1st Issue Special #1. (1975) In ancient times in a faraway land, the mighty hero Atlas became a champion of the oppressed in his struggle against the despotic King Hyssa. As a youth, Atlas had been one of the peaceful people of the Crystal Mountains until King Hyssa's raiders attacked the village. Burning Atlas' home to the ground, killing his father, and capturing everyone he knew or cared about, Hyssa unwittingly made himself a powerful enemy that would pursue him for years.
Wearing his magic crystal pendant, Atlas escaped the slavers and found a new home with a kind-hearted man named Chagra. It was not long before Chagra realized the boy possessed incredible strength. He became Atlas' manager, and accompanied him on his journeys, watching the young hero rescue citizens and defeat evil princes.
